Uji Kompetensi Guru UKG Online 2012

Tepat pada hari ini, tanggal 30 Juli, Uji Kompetensi Guru atau UKG Online 2012 secara resmi digelar dan hasilnya akan diumumkan Oktober 2012 mendatang. Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Kemdikbud) tetap melaksanakan kegiatan ini meskipun sebelumnya ada beberapa pihak yang mengamcam akan memboikot kegitan tersebut. UKG Online 2012 akan digelar di sejumlah sekolah dan diikuti oleh para Guru PNS maupun non-PNS.


Menurut Kompas, untuk melakukan Uji Kompetensi Guru, peserta memiliki waktu yang cukup fleksibel karena dibagi menjadi beberapa gelombang, yaitu dimulai pukul 08.00 – 16.00 WIB dengan durasi waktu sekitar 2 jam setiap gelombangnya. Selain itu, dilakukannya Uji Kompetensi Guru Secara Online ini untuk menghindari praktik perjokian dan kebocoran soal.

Sebenarnya, ada beberapa kendala yang muncul dalam UKG Online 2012 meskipun sudah digelar sosialisasi tentang kegiatan ini. Hal ini disebabkan karena ada beberapa guru yang masih gaptek alias gagap teknologi sehingga mereka merasa grogi dalam menghadapi UKG. Kemendikbud memberikan solusi untuk masalah ini yaitu dengan elakukan simulasi singkat selama 30 menit sebelum memulai tes.

"UKG online ini caranya sederhana dan simpel. Para guru tidak kesulitan karena terbiasa juga dengan Teknologi Handphone. Tiap guru akan ada kesempatan untuk uji coba dulu supaya tidak bingung," ujar Unifah Rosyidi dari Kemendikbud.

Mohammad Nuh menegaskan bahwa UKG ini murni hanya untuk mengetahui dan memetakan kompetensi guru, sehingga tidak ada hubungannya dengan Lulus Ujian atau tidak lulus.

"Jika guru nanti dapat nilai baik atau jelek, itu memang iya. Tetapi tidak ada keputusan lulus dan tidak lulus," katanya.
